I DON’T WANT CALIFORNIA’S GAS VEHICLES BAN IN PENNSYLVANIA
Rural pennsylvania Deserves a Break from Forceful EV Policies
The subsidization of electric vehicles (EVs) in lieu of traditional cars and trucks disproportionately affects rural Pennsylvanians. Unsurprisingly, California politicians have been consistently and proactively harmful in its EV policymaking. In October 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued an executive order that will require “all new cars and passengers trucks sold in California be zero-emission vehicles” by 2035. Also known as Advanced Clean Cars II (ACC II), these regulations effectively ban all gas-powered vehicles by 2035.
Now, they want to try and bring these radical policies to Pennsylvania. In 2007, Pennsylvania was one of the 17 states who adopted California’s “Advanced Clean Cars” regulations, and are now considering adopting the next phase and banning all internal combustion vehicles by 2035.
Tell Governor Shapiro to continue standing up for rural Pennsylvanians. Don’t let them California our Pennsylvania!

What They’re Saying
